18 months to 2 1/2 yrs

The Humpty Dumpty's have a carpeted room with lots of sensory stimulation. They have mirrors, coloured lights and soft throws. The sleep area also opens up to make a big room, good for music making and dancing.They enjoy stimulating play in colourful surroundings. They also have computer play to encourage their IT skills.

At meal times all the children sit together at the table and we encourage independence, this provides self esteem for our  little ones. A good hygiene  routine is in place along with teeth cleaning.
They enjoy a lot of outdoor play,and like to do gardening, especially looking for mini creatures.
During each week we have an instructor who comes into nursery for 'Stretch & Grow' – Physical fun exercises with the Rainbows & Humpty Dumptys which is very enthusiastically enjoyed. Our staff also join in with the children and then use  the  exercises in everyday play. 
 The children enjoy story time and join in with the telling of their favourite stories.  We have a  book corner  where  the children  can relax  and  look at  their  chosen  book.
