3yrs to 5 yrs

The Rainbow Room is very spacious, with brightly-coloured flooring providing a fun enviroment for our children. In this room the children are of pre-school age and the emphasis is placed on the Early Years curriculum, so helping our children to be prepared for  school.

The room has a role playing area, for make believe. A book corner is well used as story time is a favourite part of the day. The problem solving and numeracy area have become a favourite, as has our communications centre with computer and language taking centre stage. Our children are learning all the time, without always knowing it.

Our creative area is the messy section and we have non-slip flooring for water and sand exploration.

Once a week we have an instructor for 'Stretch & Grow' – Physical fun exercises with the Rainbows & Humpty Dumptys which is very enthusiastically enjoyed by both the children and the staff. 

Our children enjoy going out  for walks and visiting different places of interest. This is their way of learning about the world around them.

Our children eat their meals together, at the table and good manners, politeness, and independence are encouraged. (Teeth cleaning is done after meals).
